Young Carers Action Day has changed it's name and date
One of the things they are always hearing from young carers is that what they want is support, not sympathy.
This got them thinking... Yes, it’s great to raise public awareness of young carers and what they do. But this needs to do more than just encourage public sympathy for young carers and everything they have to do at home.
Instead they have decided to use the day to get people to take action to support young carers.
To mark the date, we've created a news article discussing the action day and how and where you can access support in Hertfordshire.
