Through our analysis, we found that some demographic groups have been disproportionately impacted by the Cost of Living Crisis when compared to the average. These included:

  • Single parents
  • People under the age of 54
  • Disabled people and those with a long-term condition
  • Carers
  • People from Black and Asian ethnic backgrounds
  • People who are "Just about Managing"

Although this is where we found significant trends, this does not mean that other groups are not struggling. As we've seen, the rising cost of living has impacted many Hertfordshire residents in a multitude of different ways.
